Brief Reflection
I utilize problem solving on a very low level throughout my average day. It ranges from decisions from deciding how to study to figuring out what to eat. The most recent examples of me using problem solving has been for figuring class schedules and financial aid. I am able to implement problem solving without much thought, it is a natural process.
Zoom In Reflection
When the fall semester began in August, I had a wide range of things I needed to get done in order to be settled in for school. I had to go through financial aid multiple times to process my loan, and I had to schedule academic advising to get my coursework in order. The problem identification started when I checked my emails and noticed something was missing for both of those subjects. After I realized I was behind, I got to work and looked up ways to solve my issues with registration and finances. I did walk in advising with the office of financial aid and scheduled an advisor appointment as soon as possible. After my appointments my issues were resolved in a timely manner. One way I can improve my effectiveness with problem solving would be to identify potential problems before they become an issue
