Working with others is being able to work interdependently to achieve a common goal

Evaluation Criteria

Respect – treats others with due respect. Listening skills – ability to communicate with others to work towards a goal. Engagement – puts forth effort to complete a goal.

Brief Reflection

I work with people constantly with group projects. Working in a group setting is very familiar not just for me, but for most college students. My development here is adequate.

Zoom In Reflection

One of the most challenging group projects I have worked one was my engineering 112 semester project. It was a glorified marble sorter that had multiple stages to complete. Throughout the semester I would meet up with my team to design, code, and build our machine from scratch. We each communicated our different skills and how we could best divide the work. My contribution to the project was building the physical machine. The entire process in the end further developed my ability to work in a group setting towards a common goal. I definitely have room for improvement, but I am positive I will further develop this competency in future group projects.
